I was born in Gringolandia on the 20th of June, 1960. My parents had immigrated to Canada from England in 1952. My brother was born on April 12th, 1965.
I have lived my entire life (to 2005) in southern Ontario, in and around Toronto. I completed high school in 1979 and I was accepted at the University of Guelph, where I obtained a B.A. (Honours) in History. Then, I went to Teacher's College at Nipissing University in North Bay, ON. I successfully completed my B.Ed in 1987.
Since that time, I have been an educator at all levels, from JK-Adult, with a focus on ESL/EFL education.
I moved to Santiago, Chile in 2005 to be with my wife, Claudia Tudela. We have a son, Nicholas Ignacio Gunn Tudela, who was born in August of 2006. He attends Liceo Experimental Manuel de Salas de Universidad de Chile, where he is in the second grade.
I have also been a professional photographer since 1995.
The photo was taken in 2005 by the Eramosa River near Guelph, ON.
